This restaurant has been hyped and they deserve it. We came here for my friend s birthday and it was such a great experience. The food was delicious and the drinks and coffee beverages as well. Although stuffed, we of course tried the Souffle Pancakes which were made to perfection. The only downside is that they have only have two bathrooms which are an experience in itself but nevertheless.
Morning Glory is an absolute breakfast gem! Super stylish interior , cozy vibes, and so much attention to detail. The food? Absolutely incredible – the Japanese pancakes were a dream! So fluffy, so delicious, just perfect. Everything was super fresh and full of flavor. And the staff? Extremely friendly, warm, and full of positive energy – you feel right at home the moment you walk in. Had an amazing time – I’ll definitely be back!
Incredible brunch at Morning Glory! Love the vibe of the restaurant, perfect place to take your friends too and get cocktails. We ordered an iced mocha which tasted like a dessert, and ordered the lobster omelette and ginger fried rice for entrees. The omelette was super fluffy and had a lot of yummy lobster in it. The restaurant is on the second floor and is dog friendly. All the servers and staff were super sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Morning Glory is the top brunch spot in Little Italy! The view of the San Diego Bay from the upstairs courtyard is just stunning and the vibe here is unbeatable. You can't go wrong with most of the food and drink choices on their menu. As a local, I really suggest you check it out on any occasion. It can be a bit tricky to get a reservation, but if you just walk in and put your name down, you won't have to wait more than 20-30 minutes. Highly recommend!
We absolutely loved the food at Morning Glory everything we ordered was a hit. But let’s talk about those souffle pancakes... WOW. Fluffy, dreamy, and honestly unreal. The chicken and waffles were to die for crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And the birria tacos? So juicy and packed with flavor in every bite. Now, fair warning we waited 20 minutes just to join the waitlist and another hour to be seated... on a Monday morning! But honestly, it was worth every minute. The service was excellent, and the decor was super fun and unique, it added to the whole vibe. Definitely worth the visit.
Everybody is so hyped about this place that I was skeptical, but it is actually very worth it. Servers are fun, the vibe is incredible (almost magic) and the food is fire. For location and looks the prices are honestly very reasonable. The menu is a bit confusing to read but a LOT of fun. We got the soufle pancakes, the pizza ish thingy (cannot remember the name), and the yogurt/ricotta dip. The pancakes I would get 10/10 although the cost for the cream & berries was a lot. The pizza is was definitely worth it especially with the added bacon. The dip was tasty but we shared between 2 people and I would have been happy with a fourth of the amount. I got a warm white chocolate with orange drink that was DELICIOUS. My friends got a couple of things from the dim sum menu. My one friend also got the chicken waffle but he said it wasn't really worth it. For reference: I got to MG at 8:17am (opens at 8am) to put my name on the list for a table for 3. I waited around 30min in line which felt obnoxious especially because they were a good amount of empty tables since I got there and even when we sat down (it took 15-20 mins from when I put my name in). The line was much shorter when we finished eating but I don't know if the wait time had also decreased by then or it was worse. I would 100% come back though!! Very nice spot and with a few bachelorette parties :)
Worth the wait!!!! We had to wait about 40 minutes. The good thing it was a Saturday and there was a Farmer’s Market to keep us occupied. We had steak and eggs, chicken and waffles, jalapeno maple bacon. Can’t wait to come again!
Went here for the first time for brunch. It took us 5 min to get on the waiting list and about 40 min to get seated. While we waited we walked around and looked at all the small shops that were set up. A lot of beautiful hand made things. When we finally got called up to be seated it was a WOW experience walking in. The place has an amazing ambiance the workers are really nice, the drinks were delicious and the food amazing! Everything about this experience was great! A lot of people who review this place talk about the long wait and how it’s not worth it. But as a person who doesn’t like in the San Diego area I would definitely go back again. (Not to mention the beautiful bathroom! A dog had heated seats) overall a 10!
